April Marie Textiles offers private crochet workshops and tuition for beginners and intermatediates. Working with you on a one-to-one basis or amongst a handfull of your friends I am happy to visit you at your home or your prefered venue within a 10 mile radius of Nottingham City centre at a time to suit you, alternatively why not join me at my home studio?

Beginners:

The aim of this class is to teach you the basics and get you started. I will begin the crochet workshop by showing you how to hold your hook and yarn, how to create the basic chain and then introduce you to crochet stitches like single crochet, double crochet and treble crochet.

These basics will be the foundation for any crochet you do in the future. 

Improvers:

As an improver you will learn advanced techniques such as shaping, working in rounds, cluster stitches and reading patterns. This class is a great opportunity to bring along your own crochet projects and ideas and we can work to develop skills to suit you.

One-to-one sessions will be aimed at you and what you want to achieve so we will not necessarily be working on a finished item but the skills you learn can be taken away and applied to many crochet projects.
